The Gunungkidul Health Service (Dinkes), DI Yogyakarta, recorded that 64 residents were confirmed to have leptospirosis, a disease caused by rat urine. This number of cases is among the highest in the last 4 years. "In total, until October 2023, there are 64 cases. The public is advised to remain vigilant because there is the potential for an increase," said Head of the Gunungkidul Health Service, Dewi Irawaty.
